They SO love each other!

Lauren adores watching Kendall grow up. She gets so excited at every new thing Kendall can do. Lauren takes pride in knowing that she in some ways has taught her these new things!

In addition, Kendall adores Lauren so much that she won't ever be in a room without her. If Lauren goes to play in her room, Kendall chases after her! There are even moments where Kendall will cry for Lauren.

Did I mention?

I can feed myself. Big bottle, little bottle, no biggie! Yay, Mommy gets a free hand.

My first boo-boo ;-( ;-(

Need I say more...... ouch ;-(

Love playdates!

I may not be able to have play dates on the weekdays now, but weekends still work! Kiley likes to tell secrets....
Cutie Patooties!

I heart DMB!

I got my annual Dave fix! Right before school officially started. I was lucky to sneak up to the 8th row with my sister!

She can do it!

When Kendall first started to crawl she was fascinated by this little step in our living room. She tried so hard one day to crawl over it and I took pictures with my phone!"Hmmm...step? I can do it!""Awe, man! This is tough!"
"I got my foot up!"
A congratulations kiss from Bailey! She did get over it. Unfortunately now it's not considered a speed bump in our house. ;-( She leaps right over it and into the next room.

Crawling Miss Kendall

7 months was definitely Kendall's month! She mastered crawling and has been ALL over the place. It's amazing to see the control she has over her body from laying, to flipping herself over, to sitting, then to crawling, pulling herself in the standing position, and the newest is furniture surfing! Crazy how natural it is. Kendall on the move! Watch out....
Naked babe getting those legs ready.
Lauren's encouraging her to crawl with her twinkle toe shoes.

Busy Season!

The start of the school is my busy season! This year it was even harder because our school is under construction and my classroom was moved to a portable. Lots of unpacking and setting up! Lauren was excited to visit.New room! I have windows! ahhh......It's the little things that we get excited over.

The old building!
This is what I had to start with! Lots of manual labor involved.

Oh, my where have I been?

Work, work, and chasing after Kendall! With Lauren's help of course. I have SO many memories to post! Here they come....

Call me trouble!

She's at it again!

Is she really?

It took a couple double takes to finally grab the camera. This morning Kendall was trying to share her pacifier with one of Lauren's baby dolls! "mine"

"yours"

"take it"

Then Lauren wanted to play! Sure enough Kendall tried giving it to her too.
Of course Lauren played along and took it. I guess siblings don't know what it's like to not share!

Weekend Get-A-Way, Take 2!

This past weekend we traveled to Hollywood, again! We had one wet weekend....and I'm not talking about the rain. Beach, beach, and water park! Here we are at Hollywood beach. ;-)

Gotta love the tide! Bye-bye name...

Aunt Jan is teaching Lauren how to gamble at an early age!
And it's a WIN!

snuggle time zzzz.....

Kendall celebrated her 7 month birthday with a day at the beach!

We went to my Aunt Carol's condo on Ft. Lauderdale beach. Lauren got to do some 'fishing' with the seaweed shake! Look what they caught! yikes...

Uncle Pat was trying to teach her how to ride the waves.

Kendall had a ball playing with the beach toys.

A Bouncing Good Time

I took the girls to Monkey Joe's for the 1st time. Lauren was daring enough to try the BIG slide but refused to come down when she got too scared! One of the workers had to stop the kids from getting on the slide so Lauren could come down the stairs instead of the slide. And THANKS to her friend Nick for rescuing her! "Weeee....." down a smaller slide!
Poor Kendall didn't get any good napping time since she had to sit in this itty bitty stroller. If you look closely at her hand you can see what she thought of all the kids playing without her! Who's teaching my child this???

Oh, how we love to play!

These two cutie babes are only 1 month apart. It's so exciting to see them grow and interact with each other from floor play to now sitting up! They are intrigued by each other's faces. Kiley wants to give kisses and Kendall wants to pull on her! Lauren loves watching the babies play. But of course can be too much of a helper......by bumping their noggins together! Oops... Kendall loves her friends!
