K's first visit to DISNEY

On Sunday, we took a trip to Disney to help get my mind off of returning to work! Not that Kendall will remember but it's her first visit!!!Lauren was a paying customer for the first time with her very own ticket.Miss K in her Minnie outfit. Our very own rock star!Kendall enjoyed just 'hanging out' in the baby carrier. They invent the coolest baby products!Daddy and the girls intently watching the 'Dream Along with Mickey' show on the castle stage.
Kendall's first ride on Space Ship Earth at Epcot. We parked hopped!
She liked it, A LOT!
The beautiful gardens at the Flower and Garden Show at Epcot.
Lauren is standing in Pixie Hollow.
Ahhh..... at last, peace and quiet! It wasn't long before one woke up. Next visit we will have to get some pictures of the girls with Mickey!

A Little Bit of Entertainment

We recently opened up the entertainment center. The package says 4 months and up, but poor Kendall is a bit tiny for it. (She is only 2 days shy of 4 mo.) She does enjoy it for small amounts of time, especially if her sister is near by! As she grows, I'm sure she is going to love this!!!
She likes the attention.

A little help from her big sister!

Poor Bailey

This morning we had planned a trip to Epcot but when we woke up Bailey's eyes were swollen shut! A growth on her eye from old age turned into a cyst and filled with fluid. I'm relieved that's all it was instead of a tumor. They sedated her and made an incision in her eye to drain it. She is a drunken mess! Running into walls and everything. At least that means the meds are good! Poor Bailey!!!

Daddy Date

The past few days Lauren has had a couple emotional outburst. It's hard to pin point what it's stemming from. She knows there are changes happening with Mommy returning to work, etc... And being 3 doesn't help the situation any better! ;-)

So, Daddy took Lauren out for a date to spend some one-on-one time with her at Congo River Mini-Golf. Although Daddy did most of the golfing, she LOVED it! Lauren also fed the alligators at the end of the game.....yikes!

Surprise....Movie Night!

Tonight I surprised Lauren by taking her to the movies! She was soooo excited to go see the Hannah Montana Movie. (She had been asking me.....gotta love commercials.) She adores her music and loves to rock out in her room. I knew the movie would be a bit over her age level so I figured I might as well try it on a busy Wednesday night. Lauren LOVED it. She wiggled and danced in front of her chair during Hannah's songs. It was close to an empty theater so she was free to be silly! It's amazing how much of the movie she followed along with. More than I thought she would have! (wishing my phone had a flash)

A Visit to Red Bug

It was surreal walking into the school today! Since I've been gone for soooo long. I LOVED visiting with everybody. It's been a long time since Lauren has seen Mommy's school. Here is Lauren's cheesy grin in Mommy's reading center. Lauren's going to be my book lover! We brought home three for story time tonight.
Newest Red Bug Babies!

Thanks to Kristan for the cute matching outfits!

secrets...secrets....Kiley don't listen to her. She will probably be my wild child!

Getting stronger!

During tummy time Kendall is getting so strong! Kendall is loving sleeping her on her belly at night. Sometimes when I see her wake up she has already flipped herself over to her back! Kendall is a drool monster!
Those two bottom teeth are pushing through but haven't broke the skin, yet.

" Look at me use my muscles!"
Kendall even gets her little knees under her belly, as if to crawl.
She is preparing to be on the go-go-go...!

Exhausted

Guess Lauren had too much fun today. It's 6:00 pm and she is sound asleep on the couch! Zzzzzzz

The babysitter's in town!

Auntie Jan will help watch Kendall for 6 weeks, while Mommy returns to work next WEEK! Lauren will go back to school for 3 days a week. It is tough mentally preparing to go back to work. I can't believe that I've had 4 months off!

Story Time @ the Gardens

What a beautiful day for a trip to the gardens! This month's story time was a bit chaotic with wobbling babies standing all around while the mommy's sing and do most of the dancing. It's our last official play date until summer, since I have to return back to work.{With our friends Kristan and Kiley} {Auntie Jan and Kendall}
Oh, what a gorgeous day it was!

Benjamin's Buddies

A group of us 'Benjamin's Buddies' gathered together for the UCF Great Strides walk to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We all raised a tremendous amount of money to help the foundation turn CF into the meaning CURE FOUND. There has been huge progress made from fundraising events like this one. I am proud to have walked in honor of my godson, Benjamin. {Benjamin's Buddies}{Padilla Fam} {Lauren}

I'm going to eat you!

Kendall rolls over on her side to reach anything in sight! This is one yummy bunny!

Happy Easter

Lauren woke up and walked out to the living room then came running back to Mommy in bed telling me with a frown that the Easter bunny didn't come. I told her to continue looking around the house. I KNOW he hopped by last night. Then she finally found it! The bunny couldn't have left the baskets in sight or smell where Bailey could have been tempted ;-) Ah, ha...the bunny brought Lauren a golden egg!

Once Kendall woke up Lauren helped her dig through her basket.

Easter Smiles

Lauren enjoyed painting eggs. She cried her eyes out when she cracked one. Then pleaded to us that we could tape it to fix it!

Happy Easter or Passover...which ever your family celebrated. Love, The Padilla Girls
