Spring Break

Thank goodness for Spring Break! Although I've been on 'break' since the end of December, my co-workers haven't been so it was so nice to see them today. Everyone got to meet the new Red Bug babies Kendall and Kiley!

We didn't catch Lauren on film, but she sure did have a blast! After we came home she couldn't stop talking about her 'new' friends Madison and Riley. She also LOVED playing with their dogs. Thanks to KK for a nice get together!

Event One: Nikki's Wedding 3/21

Gabe and I spent our first night away from Baby Kendall. It was a beautiful beach wedding with a gorgeous bride! The two love birds are traveling the seas for their honeymoon.{Nikki}

Circus Party

Today the family went to Ben's Circus 1st Birthday Party. This was an all time birthday party favorite! Hot dogs, pizza, snow cones, cotton candy, bounce house,...you name it and it was there!

Happy 3 Month Birthday!

Kendall turned 3 months today. She weighted in at 9 lbs, 6 oz. and 23 inches long and still has her blue eyes. The doctor declared today that she is just a petite little girl and as long as she is gaining weight, there is no need to fuss. =)

My Sis and Me

Here's what Kendall has been up to this past month.... Kendall has discovered her hands! She uses her hands to grasp on to toys, move them from one hand to the other, and pull Lauren and Mommy's hair! She 'talks' all of the time. Kendall is extremely easy to make giggle, except it never fails to end in hiccups! Kendall even giggled a bit at the doctor today. She smiles at almost anyone or anything. Kendall is now a pre-sitter. She is loving the bumbo (thanks to Craigslist ~ I scored a used bumbo for half the price as the original.) She is a great night time sleeper......thank you Kendall for Mommy's sake! She sleeps two long sleep stretches and only feeds once in the middle of the night or you could consider it an early, early morning feeding. She never sleeps with Mommy because she loves, loves, loves sleeping in her crib. WAY different from Lauren! I just put her down when she gets drowsy and off to dreamland she goes! Kendall loves her Mommy, Daddy, and Big Sister Lauren so much! She wiggles with excitement when she sees us. And just last night she was rolling her body over to see Daddy on the other side of the playmat. Oh, how she is growing so fast!

Hurricane Lauren came back today. Kendall was taking lots of Mommy's attention, so Lauren decided to dump all her toy buckets and make her very favorite letter L. You can see Bailey was keeping watch over her antics. I wonder which letters and what items she will use next??

5,4,3,2,1....Blast Off!

On Sunday, we all went to Space View Park to see the shuttle launch. It was 15 miles directly across from the shuttle Discovery. We got there pretty early to secure a nice spot.

Lauren was so good just hanging out for hours before the launch. We actually got many compliments on how well behaved she was......they should see her at home...ha!Kendall was nice and cozy in the sling!The whole sky lit up as the shuttle went........BLAST OFF!

The crowd was roaring and the ground was shaking.

The shuttle was a beaming light.

We clearly saw the boosters fall off.

What a beautiful launch!

Where are we going?

Kendall doesn't like staying in her car seat very long. Which is surprising. Most babies fall fast asleep with one movement of the car. "Mommy, where are we going....?"

"Not there again!"
